I've heard it both ways for this course. Barron's is obviously more difficult than the actual exam (as is the case with all the other Barron's books), but I feel like if I can do well learning from the Barron's book, then I'll have no trouble getting a 5 on the exam. But given that there are only 3 weeks left until the exam, Barron's may be a little difficult to get through actually absorb it all. I'm currently in the class at my school, but social science/history classes are always my worst (science and math are my best). I want to get a 5 on this exam. Which prep book would be better? Has anyone used either?

Use the barron’s! I thought for sure I was going to fail and got a 4. I also had the barron’s flash cards. The book is actually very similar in level to the test from my experience.

Crash Course books are okay, but personally, I don’t like the format that much. You could always look through both at a book store and see which you personally prefer.

Great, I just wanted to check. I usually prefer Barron’s, but I’ve heard that Crash Course is used a lot, so I wanted to be sure. Thanks!
