Hello everyone. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of an online program that offers a good AP US Government course. I could just self study the course for the AP test, but I need to take a semester of government in order to meet graduation requirements. Preferably I am looking for a course that isn't full of busy work or is overly hard.

Self-study is the way to go in terms of utilizing your time most efficiently.

If you need the credits then you’ll have to take the gov’t class in school.

…Which is why I am looking for an online alternative. O.o

I took AP Govt through National University Virtual High School, it was mostly a read the textbook, take a test, and throughout the semester write 2 essays course. Pretty good to self study, not so great if you want content to help study. If you want that then I would recommend APEX.

I’m using UC Open Access and other resources (preferably video lectures). If you’re going about the self studying route, I’d advise downloading this: <a href=“Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board”>Supporting Students from Day One to Exam Day – AP Central | College Board. It’s a course description that details the required topics f an AP Us gov class.
Constructa syllabus (UC Open Access should already have one) / schedule
UC Open Access free, all you have to pay for is a textbook. (PM me if you’d like a free AP US government textbook).
