AP US History Advice

Well, so, for next year, I'm debating.

THE AP US History teacher at my school is basically impossible. His Summer Assignment is insanely long, and his class is so tough. The class gets dropped by most kids quickly, and very few take it at our school, because of him. I don't think anyone got an A in it last year, or the year before, I do know of one girl that did three years ago. Most people get C's or D's, and they are really smart people who do alot of work, it's just, his class really is impossible.

So, I can take it on flvs.net
Which I have done for Spanish II, and Personal Fitness.

I'm just wondering, for who has taken an AP class online, would it be wise to take it online, or should I just take the AP class at my school?

I just don't want to kill myself over getting a C and hurting my GPA when I can be using my time more wisely.

The whole point of taking an AP class is to ace the May AP exam. If you honestly think that taking an online, honor-based course will get you a 5 on the exam, then go ahead.

sounds a lot like how my teacher was. over the last 15 years he has had a 99 percent pass rate. and about 70% of his students get 5s.
yet hardly anyone gets As. out of porbably 80 kids in his classes last year i think only something like 15 got As the average grade in his class was def a C.
everyone gets 5s and 4s. there are like no people who got 3s

anyways...i would say take it. work at it. just work and work and you will do well. and go in and get extra help and stuff. that goes a long way with teachers. if they see extra effort they will be more inclined to help you out.
worked with me at least

Not worth the stress. I'd just buy the princeton review a month of two before the test and take honors USH at school if you HAVE to take it.
