ap us history and others

Unfortunately my school has no AP classes, but they are all considered honors, and we learn quite a bit of AP type material. I don't want to be left behind when applying to college next year, so I'm looking into taking several ap exams. The only problem is I have no idea what to expect. Can anyone explain how the us history ap is set up? Multiple choice, essays, political cartoon interpretations etc. I got a 770 on the SAT II, so I'm hoping I can get at least a 4 on the AP test.

Also, can anyone describe what you need to know for english language, and lit AP tests. Calc AB/BC as well. I only have one calc class senior year, not an AB or BC class, so I don't know if that prepares me for both or only one or what. Oh well, any help is appreciated.

For your calculus at your school, if it is only named one thing, it probably AB, meaning just calculus I, not AB/BC, which is calculus I and calculus II.

all of this stuff and more, including sample questions from previous tests, is on the collegeboard website
