I want to take the AP US History exam but I’m only in US History honors - I’m willing to study on my own for the exam. </p>
If i take the exam and do well, will my US History honors become weighed the same as an AP Class?</p>
<p>It varies by school, but I doubt they would change the weighting of your class.</p>
<p>Just because you take the test won’t change the fact that your class was just an honors class…

<p>The test allows you to earn college credit, that’s it. Your honors class would still be counted as an honors class and would could get the AP GPA boost. </p>
