AP US HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!! Gaaaah!

I am in three APs this year and self studying AP Eng Lang. Overall, I'm all set except US History. My class is very reading based......and i never read. What is a last minute way to get a 4 or 5???? P.S. I have a pretty good understanding of US History, I just dont know all the minute details.

Amsco if you have time (it’s 600+ pages).

Crash Course if you’re pressed for time. (probably won’t get a 5 just by reading this though)

how about REA AP US + Crash Course?

AMSCO Is definitely a top choice for anyone who wants to get a five! I’m reading it and I have to say, I am learning more than I did in my first semester of APUSH! Then again, my teacher wasn’t so great either…

Yeah I have AMSCO. How long does it take to read say 5 Chapters?

Hmmm… if you are a normal speed reader and like to spend some time in taking in some information… like between 1 hr and 1 1/2 hours. DOn’t move too fast otherwise you are just wasting your time.

First chapter…shame on me.

You read 15 pages of text in 12-16 minutes? Props to you.

I’m a fast reader when it comes to reading enjoyable fiction… but reading AMSCO is a whole 'nother story.

It usually takes me around 30 minutes to thoroughly read a chapter of AMSCO that’s around 15 pages long. I go much slower than normal, making sure that at the end of every section I recite in my head what I just read (this really seems to help). Since I’m only reading it once before the exam, I need to make sure that the one time I read each chapter counts!
