What kind of details should I memorize if I am taking the AP US Hist. AP Test?
I would really appreciate some examples! THANKS!

what the hell? just focus in your AP USH class in school. Buy a prep book (AMSCO, REA etc.) and go through the content review and do the tests. there's nothing specific i can think of that you should memorize (i got a 5). just know the different elections, other major events.

Personally, I thought knowing the order of the presidents helped with knowing the general timeline for eliminating answers on the m.c.

^What they said.

Just get a good prep book or two and go through them thoroughly, and, of course, pay attention in class.

Work on remembering the important trends/movements of periods - I've found its easier to remember specific details about periods when you know the general trend, because you understand its importance in context.

@ sk1990: not all people who take the ap test also take the ap course

There aren't many "little" things on the test. However, one particular category you should know about are landmark supreme court cases. There are usually quite a few of them on the test.

can someone link me to a site to buy amsco us history ap book.
thanks

Please, can someone provide a link??

I'd tell you to focus on the Revolution(and post-rev), 1800-1900, and a few facts about the modern era(mainly, WWi and WWII). I got a 4.
