AP US History Test

I recently did a practice test in my US history class and i was wondering what score from 1-5 would i get. My goal is to just get a 3.

MC- 45 Correct, 35 incorrect
Essay- DBQ=5, FRQ #1=5, FRQ #2=5

You got a 3. You were close a 4 by about one point according to this curve:

AP United States History
MC x 1.125
DBQ x4.5
Essay 1 x 2.75
Essay 2 x 2.75

114 - 180 = 5
113 - 92 = 4
91 - 74 = 3
73 - 42 = 2
41 - 0 = 1

This one is old (2001 I presumed) and I remember seeing a recent one that is more lenient than this one.

thats fantastic thanks Jerry, i think i can get about 5 more right on the MC to give me a safe range for a 4

As a side note, my history teacher said that the 2001 was the hardest exam he’d ever seen.

By a more lenient grading, do you mean that the required composite score was lower than 114? What are some recent composite score ranges for hte APUSH test?
