AP us history vs SAT us history HELP!

hey, I just took the ap us history and studied using the book called, "5 steps to a 5." I was just wondering if I can just reuse this book to study for the upcoming SAT us history subject test. Do you recommend that I buy a new book for the SAT? or can i just use the 5 steps to a 5 book.

thanks !

No I think you’re fine. Just remember that the SAT History is more specific than the AP test. If you want to buy a new book, I highly recommend Direct Hits! That was my favorite book last year for APUSH. Good luck!

5 steps really sucks… it really does. If you’re going to buy something new, buy direct hits for a more comprehensive review and AP US History Crash Course for more of a review.

The SAT questions are more detailed, but very easily figured out through historical analysis much like AP questions.

“Who was president during “54’ 40’ or fight!”?”

^ Polk ;)

Like others have said, definitely get the Crash Course. I feel as if that book basically got me a 5.

ahhh, wish id known about this book earlier than ap would have been easier for me haha.

well thanks for the recommendation! really appreciate it
