AP US History: Where is your class?

I'm just curious, what time period are you all up to in your APUSH classes? How far do you imagine your class will get before May?

My class just started the depression. Our syllabus says we'll get all the way up to the presidency of the first Bush, but I don't know that I really believe that! I think my teacher is being a little optimistic there.

I don't even KNOW where we are. Somewhere near the early 1900's. My teacher is so disorganized, we are all going to fail.

My class is only one perioid a day and is 2 years. We also do some Government. We are up to the 1820s...

Rise of the City...Late 19th century to the turn of the 20th.

finished immigration in class, wwi in the book

WWI (but we started in the 1850s)

1960s (block schedule)

We'll get to the 1980s by the end of the month, and that's when we switch to AP US Government for just over a quarter.

civil war. or at least I think that's where the class is at, or was the last time I went. perhaps they're on reconstruction by now. (I took the class last year, but visit every so often). our teacher always is behind, and ends up having to have before school lectures in order to get up to speed for the ap. even then we don't get to vietnam.

wow everyones at different places. We just did AFL, Knights of Labor, CIO, NLU etc. 1875-1900

we just got to wilson's presidency. i think we'll start wwi next week. we'll finish covering everything maybe 2-3 weeks before the ap exam.

spanish-american war, acquisition of the philippines, teddy roosevelt, panama canal

WWI here too. We're on block schedule, but I only have AP USH for half the period each day.

about to start 1912 election and into wilson's presidency

taft's presidency...up to 1913

wilson and WWI.
our class is in Reconstruction though

finished with Great Depression, starting on the New Deal...

dont worry about it.. the ap exam really only goes up to the 1960's with only a few questions beyond that and they guarantee that there will be no essays on the 1980's.. I think the last significant topic studied is civil rights.. after that it starts melding to a poli scie course(at least for me... I LOVE poli sci)

We're starting on WWI tomorrow

We're starting WWI really soon. Of course, we have to read about 20 pages every night for homework. ^^ Our syllabus ends us Reagan. Then we have about 2 weeks of review. Since your class is at the Depression, I'm sure you'll make it to Bush.

We're about to start the Progressive Era.
