<p>IB is not necessarily harder, it is extra work you have to do, like CAS Hours, Extended Essay, iA, and eA, then you still have to take the exams.</p>
<p>well.. just out of curiousity... my school only has ap classes. let's say student A goes to school with IB classes, and student B goes to school with only AP classes.. the college adcom would choose IB over AP?</p>

<p>With AP, you get more college credit, while IB is a rigorous college courses, with some college credits, but not many. It teaches you how to write college essays.</p>
