I've taken 5 AP tests:3, 4, 4, 4, 5, but I didn't want to take any SAT subject tests because I figured my test scores in my APs should show I'm sufficient in those subjects, (subject tests seem to cover the same subjects as APs anyways). Does not taking subject tests hurt my chances for admission? I submitted ACT scores instead of SAT scores also...

From what I've heard, its recommended to have at least 2 SAT II's. Also, I heard that some schools require SAT II's. And replacing and SAT score with and ACT score doesn't affect your chances.

many schools require sat iis, however, they do not use ap's as an admissions criteria. this is because of the disparity of student participation in ap classes and exams across the country. great ap scores may help, but they won't make or break you. u still must have at least 2 good sat iis.

I wasn't applying to any schools that require sat subject tests b/c I'm submitting my ACT, I got a good score on my ACT and a mediocre score on my SAT, so I didn't want to submit subject tests that would bring along my SAT score, and I didn't want to have to pay to cancel my SAT score...and I haven't taken or registered for subject tests so I was hoping my APs would cover that standardized test score gap...
