Hey guys and girls, I heard from friends that if I do bad on my APs (for example, get a 3 or 2), it will affect my gpa in college.

Is it real, can somebody explain it to me?

Thanks

Im not sure, but i don't see how. With a 3 or 2 in any AP class, you would have to retake it in college, it doesnt count towards college credits.

JLH, so what you mean is that there is no difference in your gpa weather you get 5s or 4s, suppose your performance in college is exactly the same, so scores in AP dont affect gpa in college, right?

Ooh, I thought this thread was about finding the balance between gpa and how many APs to take, but now that I see the thread title doesn't imply that =P.

I don't see why it should impact gpa in college

OK, then I see.
What I heard is fake.
Thanks!
