AP world history advice

How can I prepare myself to take AP world history next year? Do you have any tips? this is going to be my first AP class so i’m really nervous. Is it really as hard as people make it seem?

I just took the class & test. Do the summer assignment (if there is one). Read along with the textbook. Pay attention in class. You can go to the college board website and check out past essay questions and multiple choice questions. They are really great practice. Practice a lot when it comes to writing out essays (all types) and doing multiple choice questions; the more of both you do the better. Crash Course world history is a good resource for quick reviews for world history topics. If you want to get a prep book my teacher recommended the Princeton review: premium edition. Whap.mrduez.com is a good website for world history notes,etc. Overall relax and you’ll be fine it’s not as hard as people make it out to be. Good luck!

I took the class this last school year, got a high B first semester, low B second semester and a 5 on the exam. My teacher was amazing, but a very hard grader. If you get a teacher like mine, the best thing to do is read the chapter and take NOTES! Effective notes will make your life so much easier. Study for the tests by reviewing your notes and reviewing key info, which you can find Quizlets for based on your textbook and chapter. Before the actual AP exam, practice how to write the essays and how to eliminate answers on the multiple choice - Get a prep book for this. Good luck!
