Planning on AP World History this year and our school finally got the latest textbook edition of The Earth and Its Peoples but I heard the test/ course focus is new. Need a good recommendation for a thorough test prep and accompanying book for the course.

Thanks!

I believe the exam was revised just this year correct? I took it, and you really should not worry about it too much. I believe it just focuses more on primary source analyzing, which you will probably be able to do by the end of the course (I used a textbook from 2007). I actually found it easier than the other AP history exams which were fact/memorization based. Princeton Review does a pretty good job for this course, try to get at least the 2012 version. Out of all the AP exams I’ve taken throughout my high school career, AP World was one of the easiest (Easy 5).

The Free Response is a little difficult though. Memorize and practice those grading rubrics.
