Princeton review, I'm using it for AP Euro History, its really helpful, I had Barrons for AP Euro History and it really sucked.

PR for general ideas and themes, especially good for MC, Barrons for those specific details that will make your essays/DBQ shine (but not really necessary so much)

Yeah, if you're solely choosing one or the other, go with PR. I've had experience with both for World, and i liked PR the best (got me a 5). As Rikataka said, Barron's is a little too nitty-gritty for a "review" book, especially for AP World, a class that is based mainly on trends.

barrons is really detailed and as rikataka said theyre really good for the essays
pr it just gets to the point in easy lingo
personally im using both just to have something detailed and for the other to sum it up easier

AAAAH I have the barrons but now im having second thoughts!!! Im see on Amazon.com both good and bad things about barrons...DOH

yeah but there are always good and bad things about all of them. there's always the "i got a 5 by just reading this once" review, and then the "this book is terrible, waste of money, doesnt teach anything" reveiew.

Barron's review is more detailed, so at worst you're reviewing too much.

I just like the way PR discusses the trends/the PR practice test a lot more. :) I got a 5 last year, so if you have questions.

I would say PR is good if you have taken the class already. Barrons is better if your self studying.

I'm using both and I am self studying... 2 weeks to go and I'm only on Chapter 12 (barrons) :O Is it possible for me to get through it?
