AP World History Test Takers

Did anyone take the AP World exam. If so, what did you think?

Can you tell me,what did you think?

MC wasn't that bad...a few obscure questions, but overall it was like, "eh," not like "OMFG *** was that??!!"

And essays are just essays. I mean, you either get really lucky/study really hard and know the topic or you don't. I unfortunately, didn't know one of the topics and bsed 2 pages that basically repeated the same 3 sentences 50 times. Yeeeah...I'm hoping for a 2 on that one. My friend looked at the essay and just left it blank. =)

The essays didn't seem too obscure, though all my historical information for the last one was pretty broad and generic. The multiple choice was far easier than I had expected.

Do any of you know around what raw score one needs to get a 5 or 4?

Yes, I'm curious as well as to what kind of raw score you need to get a 3,4 or 5.

Does anyone know where to get those charts that show your percent chance at a certain score based on how you did on multiple choice? I remember curves for lots of tests are a lot, and I'm thinking out of 70 questions, the most possible I could've gotten wrong is like 15 maybe.

MC is OK, but eassays was hard.

i actually think I did better on the essays, since I did the last question for a freshman term paper. MC was pretty hard for me though since I spent like fifteen minutes staring at that one weird map question...which I realized I got wrong anyway. :P it's over though!

psh. easiest test ever.

MC was sorta hard, DBQ was kinda hard, the essays were obscenely easy.

I (along with MANY ppl in my class) beat that test into the ground.

mc was ok for me...not easy not hard......and last essay ....i didnt have much to say...i only wrote 2 pages.....as for the other two essays....i think i did swell on the first one (3.5 pages) and second (3 pages).....dont fret about it...most highly selective colleges dont even look at ap(or so i've heard).

MC was very simple.
DBQ was stupid easy.
COT was very easy.
Compare was a little obscure... we didn't spend very much time on it, but I'm a master of the art of BS, so I made it work.

Yeah, MC was pretty easy.
the essays were okay, except the DBQ, which I found very hard and confusing.

does anyone know how it will be curved?...

It was pretty easy.

will you guys take SAT II world histroy?

it wasn't that bad, except for the comparative essay that was completely absurd. what score do you think will make a 5 on the exam, considering there are 120 raw points as explained in thr PR book?

im taking sat ii world history in june.

how to prepare ?
can we prepare together (online)? ^O^.

i think 70%=5

wow.. im not so confident about that test

I think I blew some MC and a WHOLE ESSAY. (I'm not getting above a 3)
you guys think I should cancel my score?
I'm not sure.. do most schools require you to write them in on ur app? also, would it look bad to NOT report a grade even though they saw you took the class?

I self-studied but just pulled off an all-nighter along with Calc BC. I was surprised at how easy MC was, it was even easier than SAT II World History. First couple essays including DBQ were also easy and the last one I kind of made up stuff but still did okay.

are we allowed to "articulate" the essay questions now?

EDIT- the collegeboard website has posted the 2005 FR questions, so I guess its ok now to talk about them!
