what ap prep books would be the best to use!!!

barrons was good for reading, but had a lot of detail..

princeton was good for tests.

WH was the most intimidating test, but the scores come out very nice.
i thought i messed it up, but i got a 5. i think everyone in my school got a 5.

good luck!

Well... PR is more reader friendly while Barron's give you all the details you need to know for the AP exam, and even more!!!

PR is better.

Do you think its possible to merely study a book and get a 5? Which book?
I took AP Euro last year, but didn't take the course, and I'm currently taking the APUSH course.

how'd you do on the euro?

ok thanks guys

Got a 5 on Euro.

I hated barron's for world. it had retarded questions in the mock exams too "which desert is the largest in the world?"...honestly....

I would go PR.

PRINCETON REVIEW

read the review section twice about a week before the test, remember the stuff and you'll get a 5

I was thinking about self studying AP World, since I am taking an AP Euro course this year. I was thinking about just buying the PR guide, and this book:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0195219279/ref=sib_rdr_dp/104-3341195-4872736?%5Fencoding=UTF8&me=ATVPDKIKX0DER&no=283155&st=books&n=283155

Then study it for 2 months (March and April) to get a 5 in World History hopefully.

How do-able is this? Do you think the New History of the World book is necessary? I was skimming through the PR book and they said that the PR Review should not be a replacement of your textbook, as it is not detailed as it would be... what do you guys think? (sorry if this is threadjacking, but I figure my questions might benefit the previous posters).

I memorized 1 entire chapter from PR in 3 days. 4 more chapter to go....

A-San, just read PR and do practice tests, and if you have time, read Barrons, since its alot more detailed. Its very time saving and you are still ready for a good score.

PR has only 5 chapters?
