AP World History

Unfortunately, I thought that in our class, we would prepare for the AP exam. Little did I know, our teacher decided to not help us at all. The year has passed and I barely know how to write any of the essays. We still have 1/3 of the textbook remaining. Despite these depressing circumstances, my parents still expect that I get a 5. Please point me to a book that will be enough for me to achieve my goal. Currently, I have Barrons and Princeton Review. Which one should I read for the MC? Which one would be helpful for the essays? Should I get a different book? All advice will be greatly appreciated.

Both will help you a lot. The Barron’s book is good in that is overly descriptive (it’s practically a textbook) and contains good multiple choice for every section and the entire book. Their both good in their advice at the beginning of each book in regards to time-tips and test-taking tips. The Princeton book is very easy to understand and points out major points in world history. It also tends to have more realistic essay prompts.

Good luck!
