AP World Self-Study?

Hi, I'm a sophomore in a highly competitive International Studies program at a public high school in NJ. Until last year, AP World History was offered as part of the freshman curriculum. My class took an honors course in modern global studies in its stead. I have a reasonably good background in world history, and took a practice exam on SparkNotes on which I scored a 5. Would it be advisable to begin self-study for the AP World History exam ASAP and then take it this May (along with AP Comp. Gov., where I have an A+ currently)? Thanks.

I just bought the Princeton Review book, which came recommended. Any Comments?

if u scored a 5 on the sparknotes exam u can definetly do it
