*****ap Worlf History Thread****

with only 2 more days to go....do you guys wanna start asking each other question (specially FRQ and the ones we have difficulty with????)

Ill start:

1.) What was the Atlantic Act signed by Churchill adn Roosevelt in WW2
2.) When did Israel gain independence?

Just FYI from my own experience, I read 4 out of 20+ chapters of my textbook, but I got a 5. As long as your writing is convincing, and you use words like megalomaniacal, power vaccuum, and poverty gap, you have a high chance at BSing your way through.

Ok.. use the word "hegemony" in ur essays. Im taking it on thursday too should be quite easy. have to get 50/70 and at least 6s on ur essays to get a 5..so its not that hard..considering the fact that only sophomores take the exam, so u dont need to do that well to get a 5.

Yeah. I'm planning on abusing the sh-t out of "cultural hegemony" and "power vacuum" -- and maybe throwing in something about Demarest's Model, mmm.

PS~ I don't know anything about the history of the world. :(

For your questions:

Outlined the foreign policy goals of US & GB, and set up trade agreements.

1948 or 1946 I think, due to it being made into a Jewish home state after WWII.

I haven't taken world, only Euro, but I know these questions.

questions- difference between Han and Roman Empires??

contributions ofthe Mongol Empire?

name every single Chinese dynasty?

name important empires/ civilizations in India?

causes effects of world wars?

^ I'll answer one.

Causes of WWI: nationalism, build up of tension between countries, history of violence among countries (e.g. Franco-Russo War), rivalries, assassination of Ferdinand by the Serbian nationalist

Effects: League of Nations, military limitations on Germany, breakup of Ottoman Empire, rise of the 3rd Reich, fascism, later WWII

And if you think I'm gonna spend the time listing out stuff relating to WWII, you're wrong.

This is a very very specific question- which civilization used stolas and how?

welcome to the ap worlf history thread!

Do you guys want to predict what the essay prompt will be about??? I'll go : Comp. and Cont the transatlantic trade to the indian ocean trade in some way.

^how would you even begin to answer that? slave trade vs. no slave trade?

"contributions of the Mongol Empire?"
largest empire to date, reopened Silk Road, spread of bubonic plague, reunited and ruled China during the Yuan dynasty

also, memorize the Chinese dynasty song!!

Pakistan - Islam split off
