Ap

What good does taking AP classes like US history, Gov, and world history in high school? Do most business majors ever have to take these classes?

It may help with general education/core requirements for a school. There is merit.

I came into college with my gen eds complete for psychology, microeconomics (we have to take both macro and micro at my school), stats, environmental science, and government done thanks to APs. This allowed me to skip those classes for my gen eds, which will allow me to take easier electives next year which will help pad my GPA. That is a nice benefit to me.

Business majors need a solid background in these areas as well as sociology/psychology - those AP classes will better prepare you to understand the world around you (very important to business and life in general).
