when you go to ftcap and schedule courses, waht happens when you find out you get a 4 or 5 on ap exams and get credit, anyone know how they go about rescheduling?

Once you have registered on eLion you will be able to make changes to your schedule yourself.

Yes. Your advisors will tell you to shy away from classes that might be covered by any APs you took this past May. For example, my advisor said not to schedule any Political Science classes until I know my score on the Gov & Politics. Of course, I'm majoring in the sciences, so PoliSci makes no difference anyway.

BTW The classes that APs exempt you from are not what you would typically take if you were majoring in that field. CHEM 012 (credit given for a 4 or 5) is generally skipped by Chemistry and Pre-med majors.

Careful on skipping courses that you might need for med school. Most med programs don't accept AP credit in required coursework . If you use AP for chem then you will still need a full year of additional science and lab work besides orgo.
