APES - how'd you do?

I thought it was pretty easy, definitely not as hard as I thought it would be. The FRQs were straight forward and nothing was too obscure. There weren't any questions on random statistics/percentages like I was worried about. I'd say I got atleast a 4

I thought I did pretty well too. I left about 3 blank in the MC. I agree, the open ended was very straightforward.

I wasn't too bad, but I didn't kill it or anything. My guess is about 99/150, which may or may not be enough for a 5

does anyone have the score thing for this test. i think i did pretty good, not amazing. i need a 4!!

I thought it was pretty easy as well. Left around 7 MC blank and guessed on several. The FRQ's were easy except for one part of one question. At least a 4, but really hoping for a 5, although I won't get credit for it either way.

like scotty, I would REALLY appreciate a scoring-thinger if anyone has one

According to Smartypants book:

120-160 = 5
94-119 = 4
68-93 = 3
38-67 = 2

Raw score = MC.9 + essays1.5

I thought the MCs were okay... maybe 70-80/100. The FRQs I just BSed (seemed easier than previous years) but still shouldn't do too bad.

It seems like all of my AP tests are going to be REALLY close. I'm going to get really high 4s or really low 5s on all of them... except one (Computer Sci) which I completely BOMBED

thanks... soooo how many points are the essays worth??

15 points x 4 = 60 points

I thought the exam was pretty easy overall. Definitely thought I'd be much slower writing essays but I had time for a nice nap afterwards :)

According to PR, MC is x.9, which means the total is out of 150. I believe that is the correct version, because MC is supposed to be 60% and the essays 40%

Good Point Cesky, can you post the PR curve?

so do you multiply that by 1.5 and then add the mc???

Hold on, the Princeton review book stated that a 91 would get you a 5. That seems to be correct because most AP scores at 5 start at around 60 or 65ish percent.

wow!!! i hope that is right because that would be amazing!!

No really, if anyone has the 2006-2007 edition, check page 17. It states that a score of 5 starts at a composite of around 91 out of 150.

91/150 = 5???
You're my hero, Gryffon!!!!

...but, that's a long way from my Smartypants book (120/160 = 75%)- we've already found inaccuracy in that already - But I hope you're right!!!

It was fairly simple though, so maybe the curve won't be that easy

So if I got maybe a raw score of 65 on the MC and about 6/10 for each essay, what would my score be?

That would get you a 650.9 - (350.25) + (6 * 4 * 1.5) --- 49.75 + 36 = 85.75 a high 4.
But I'm sure you did better than a 6 on the essays.

that was so easy. I especially liked the FRQ. Save water by showering once a week!

Shh... We don't want trouble behind our backs, ya know.
