I am a current Sophomore in high school, and have enrolled in 4 AP courses: AP Biology, AP U.S. History, AP English Language, and AP Calculus BC. The first three of these I am taking through the Apex Learning program, and they seem very difficult. Especially the AP Biology, which is really giving me a hard time. Are these courses good, in that of preparing me for the AP exam? I am naturally a good writer and love history, but I do not like science. It is significantly harder for me to relate to it. So, can I expect to get a 5 on each AP exam, with Apex Learning and perhaps supplemental test materials?
I am taking AP US History on APEX right now as well and it is very difficult for me. We didn’t have enough people sign up, but the normal APUSH teacher was very strict. She paid us a visit and said that APEX alone is not near enough to do well on the exam. She said a review book (Princeton perhaps) is a good idea along with a site called apushreview. Best of luck.
