HOw useful is an apex online prep course for ap tests?

I like how they give you access to past exams.

I absolutely HATE APEX. My teacher does not teach us and just assigns us chapters from APEX and then talks about how if we learn just 80% of 80% of the material 'he' teaches us, then we will be on our way of getting a 4 and maybe a 5. I'm serious...the entire first semester, all we learned was net ionic equations...APEX takes too long, and I haven't really learned anything from it. I'm reading from the Barron's book now, and I'm learning more from it than I did from APEX, but I guess it depends on the kind of learner you are. Seems to me that APEX is more so for auditory learners, although the flash movies seem to indicate that it is also for visual learners as well....

which APEX courses have you done? you're talking about the full course, right ? ... not just the review prep ?

the online APEX course for Chemistry at www.apexvs.com ....Not sure if that's the full course or the review prep that you're speaking of...

For any of you intrested, you can get APEX AP exam review from PR for $50
