I've already submitted my applications to Boston University (early decision) and Hampshire College (early action) before I noticed these errors, and now I'm kind of freaking out.

I was reviewing my personal statement when I noticed that each paragraph (before the indent) has an exclamation point. Well, now, that's an issue - because I already submitted my applications and I can't fix it.

The next problem is that, while reviewing another supplement, I saw that the apostrophes were replaced by exclamation points (so that, for example, 'it was her mother's in the '70s' comes out 'it was her mother!s in the !70s').

I realize I can't go back and fix my mistakes, but I was wondering how this would affect me, as an applicant, and if the admissions officers were (generally) aware that this was a technical error that could not be helped? I read somewhere this was an issue that typically afflicted Mac users, which I am, and I'm just really hoping this won't affect me as an applicant. I'm really upset over this, and I'm not quite sure what to do.
