<p>I don’t know the Brown drill once they get the app - do they send email to acknowledge receipt? Do they send a PIN for online access to app status?
Also, do they do this as soon as they get the app, or will they wait to do this for the RD apps?</p>
<p>They send an email when you first pay, which is when you complete and submit the first part before moving on to the essays. My guess is the app status tracker can be accessed after you submit your essays; maybe you receive a more detailed receipt for the payment as well (my email said something along the lines of, Thank you for your interest in Brown University! Remember your application is not completed until your essays are sent in, and will not be considered until then!)</p>
<p>It all went in together - both Part I and IA, personal statement and check.</p>
<p>Hrm… Maybe since you paid with a check, you won’t get a receipt until that is received and processed. Just my guess.</p>
