<p>I turned in my application 2 days late, though through coincidence, I ended up hand-delivering it, so I guess it would have gotten there the same time through mail transit anyway . . .</p>
<p>the main reason to prepare your application early is not to send it early, but to give yourself a week away from it, so that when you come back to it, you can look at things (e.g. essays) more objectively</p>
