Yeah.. I kind of sent my commonapp already.. I didn't think that those two essays would be the actual essays they were going to read. I thought it was going to be on the supplement.. I wrote really crappy, un-proofread essays, that I barely tried on. what should I do..?

lol..is this a joke?

no.. im serious dude.. my stupidity was just overwhelming that time O.O

Umm. The point of the common app is that it's an application. That will be sent to colleges.

https://app.commonapp.org/CommonApp/GeneralQuestions.aspx I guess try to contact the common app people?

what an idiot!!! sending an application this early and not proofreading!? well hopefully it was written stream of consciousness and will be considered artistic?

I'm gonna say it nicely.
I don't think you have much to worry about.

:( i hope thats not sarcasm :(

was cornell your first choice? then if so....start praying. plus, why would you not try on a COLLEGE application? you are trying to prove yourself to admissions officers, not just b.s. your way through like you can do in high school.

Yeah ijust gave them a call, they said just mail the essays to the admissions office and they will disregard the other essay :)

see, it always works out. :)

im happy for you!

thanks man. :D

yes, but then again, they may still keep the old crappy essasy? However, cornell's supplement had two other cornell-related essays and I B.S.ed them at the last moment without proofreading (lol almost didn't catch the mail carrier to bring them in for me), but Cornell wasn't my #1 choice. I guess I got in because I wrote 3 excellent commonapp essays.
