<p>Would this section in the activity summary be an appropriate place to discuss special family circumstances/background such as being a first generation college student and being the child of immigrant parents (and the consequential implications)?</p>

<p>No, this is a fine place to talk about that. I wrote about family matters, which they happened to bring back up in my scholarship interview. Really, write about whatever is unique or interesting that wasn’t included elsewhere in the app.</p>
