<p>Well, yeah, if you have anything to report there. I think the idea is that they want to give students a place to explain this. Students who have to work significant hours to help support their family, or who care for an ill family member or smaller siblings, for example, may have a thinner list of extra-curriculars to boast about. But if there is a good reason, UM wants to know about it.</p>
<p>Yes, you’re expected to fill it out if it applies to you. That’s why it’s there.</p>
