Is it okay if my school name (name on my transcript and my recommendation letters) differs from my legal name (located on all the others parts of the app- PartI and II, SATs, etc.)? Fortunately, one of my recommendation letters contain both of my names. The rec letters and the transcripts are all mailed to JHU in the same envelope? Is this okay?

Thanks.

Was your entire application sent together? Or did you send your part of the application and your school sent their part separately?

If there are separate mailings there may be a problem in combining your application is two different names were used. How different are the two names used?

The best plan of action is for you to send an email to gotojhu@jhu.edu with a full explanation of which application materials were sent with which name. This can help the Operations staff merge all your application materials.

Thank you, AdmissionsDaniel.
