Hi, I'm working on my FSU app. I took 2 SATs already buy have not sent any scores. I see they take 1-2 weeks to send, and I do not have 2 weeks till the FSU deadline. If I typed my scores in on my app and they receive the scores a few days after the 15th will I be okay for the october deadline? Or do I need to rush send my scores

You need to send your scores directly from SAT. The scores do not have to arrive the same time as your application but they need to be officially received. If you have the option of rushing the scores I would. There is no need to add the scores to your application.

Yeah, you’ll need the scores sent directly from SAT (no clue why FSU allows you to put them in yourself). I would send them rush so that FSU gets them before the deadline. No need to risk having your application decision delayed to March over something like having SAT scores sent a day or two late.

Unless it’s changed, FSU requires that you have one set of SAT or ACT scores on file by the day that applications are due to have yours considered “complete” and to receive a decision in December.

^ So if you have ACT scores on file, even if they are old ones, it will be considered “complete” and if newer scores arrive later they can be added to the file after the deadline?

It may have changed in the last couple of admission cycles, but that is the case as I know it, yes. As long as you have scores on file by the submission deadline, you can submit updated scores from October/November test dates.
