[APP] SAT/SAT II/PSAT Practice Test Timer

SAT Practice Timer - The best way to time practice tests and simulate the testing experience for the SAT I, SAT II, and PSAT.

About the App
SAT Timer is a test timer for the SAT I, SAT II, and PSAT with official times for each section including breaks. For the SAT, you can chose which sections you will take, making it easier to take tests without the experimental sections, like ones from the Blue Book.

Why I developed this app
I am currently a high school student (just like most of you) who wants to do well on the SAT. Practice tests are essential to improving your score so I decided to pick up the Blue Book and take the tests. I was tired of resetting my timer after each section and changing the time. As a result, I have made an app that calculates everything so that I could easily time my tests with the exact test times and really simulate the testing experience. I have probably spent more time developing this app than actually studying for the test so I hope this app helps you guys out.

Features
• SAT/SAT II/PSAT Timer with exact test times (including breaks between sections)
• Pause/Resume the timer & skip sections
• Raw Score Calculator
• [COMING SOON] Score Log: Keep track of your test scores over time to see how far you improve
• [COMING SOON] Reduce time: Reduce the time of each section by 10% to increase speed and agility when taking the test

Features that I will implement if I have enough requests
• Timer for ACT

iOS Compatibility
This app is currently only available for android, but if there's enough support for my app, I will develop this app for iOS users (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch).

Feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated.

Is this available as an apple app?

@ClassOf2015HS This app is currently only available for android, but if there’s enough support, I will develop this app for iOS users.

Would love the app for apple if you have the time to develop it mate :)

Interested in Apple version

Updated the app! Thanks @ClassOf2015HS, @Alcaraz, and @CHD2013 for your interest in an Apple version of my app. I will do my best to try and get an iOS version up and running. In the meantime, I’m little busy with school and midterms.

v1.0.1

 • Added support for tablets
 • Added optional alarm sound + vibrate when the timer ends

Wow, this sounds really cool. Thanks for taking the time to do this AppDev! I will definitely download it onto my android phone.

I don’t have an Android device, but I wish I did just for this snazzy-sounding app.
I won’t be taking the SAT again after this month’s, but I think this app could really benefit many Apple users!

*Oh yeah, my mom has an Android phone–how could I have forgotten! Woo, yay.

Why is this useful if you can’t bring it into the testing center?

@SavedTatWhim Although this app is only for practice tests, it helps one get accustomed to the time of the real test. I made this app to facilitate the process of taking practice tests because the more practice, the better, especially for the SAT.
