im a rising junior looking forward to applying to colleges of rep and quality education, like duke, uchicago, ivies. uh, i was jst wondering, why do colleges ask about your parents education? like, does it help or hurt if my parents, during their time here, dad got degrees and my mom was unable to get anything above a high school diploma due to financial aid?
