Any EA applicants hear anything yet? Based on posts from last year, people were finding out around this time.
Nothing here yet, but thanks for starting this thread.
No news here, either.
No decision for son yet but he noticed under review isn’t there any longer as well as the January 25 notification by date. Anyone else?
My son’s also no longer says under review.
My son just looked decision was in and it’s a YES!! Good luck everyone.
Thanks so much for posting your update. I just had my son log in. He was accepted, too!
Congrats!!!
Same to you!!
Daughter was accepted today!
My Son got accepted yesterday (12/14)
Good luck to everyone
D was accepted! Invited to apply for something she probably won’t if it means another essay! She still has a few to do for RD schools.
Good luck to everyone!
Anybody know how to apply for scholarship? is it too late? I see the deadline shown as Nov 15th
While I’m not 100% positive, I was under the impression that first year students (fall 2018) had to apply for scholarships by 11/15.
@byadg123 congrats! I LOL’d at your comment that your D likely wouldn’t apply for something else if she has to write another essay. That’s my D to a T. Couldn’t even get her to apply for Honors and scholarships by the deadline. She’s been burning out on the whole process.
@Kulfi Nov. 15 is the only deadline I know.
From what I understand merit scholarships, honors college and watagua residence hall you had to apply by 11/15. My son applied to all, it was a lot of essays and I believe 2-3 letters of recommendation.
I would check the department website because there maybe specific scholarships there
@xyxyxx She’s playing roulette a bit, betting that she’ll get accepted to a preferable place. If she doesn’t and it turns out she should have applied Honors I swear I won’t utter a word!
I’m actually impressed my son applied to all this stuff but he’s so done with HS and I think ready to move on so that motivated him a bit. She can always apply as an existing student if she goes there.
@byadg123 Same here! I hope they’re right.
