Hi there! I applied as a first time freshman under the AMM major. I have roughly a 3.6 CSU GPA, I’ve taken 5 AP classes (weak, I know!) with a 1950 SAT ss (1930 one sitting). CPP ranks very highly on my list of colleges. However, currently it looks like I’m going to end this semester with a 3.3uw/3.8w (though not all my grades are in, but this is the lowest it will get). Will this affect my chances for admission? As for second semester, I’m definitely gonna get myself together and aim for no more than 2 B’s total. I’m hoping since I’m applying for a not very sciency/mathy major CPP can forgive my low grade in AP Stats (C…), but will this hurt me? Does CPP rescind admission?
Senior grades are only used to make sure you passed the rest of your a-g courses with a C or higher and to maintain your provisional admission. As long as you get no D’s or F’s you are fine.
@Gumbymom Oh, few! I think I’ll just try to maintain a 3.0 second semester (but aim higher of course.)
