This sounds like sending a person to Coventry.

Almost as good but not quite. Deep Springs hasn't cured aids yet but it has cured homosexuality, and that's almost as good.

The ball is in Deep Springer's court by now, buddy.

apparently....

don't believe everything wikipedia says, god know you might eventually have to read a whole book.

Isn't Deep Springs the college in the middle of nowhere where the only females are bovines and you have to do farm chores?

No thanks, I'll stick with Penn.

I agree with quaker10...I'd much rather go to Penn than be stuck for two years 400 miles from the nearest female and be forced to do slave labor, no matter what their transfer acceptance rate is.

Deep Springs College was founded by L.L. Nunn, who also founded the Telluride Association. Cornell TASP 06.. woot!

LL Nunn also founded both Goldman and Sachs.

Not to be confused with Goldman-Sachs. Those two banks are far more profitable.

There was a good article about Deep Springs in the New Yorker a while back. Impression I got: A bunch of dudes stuck in the middle of nowhere who are worried about "non-worldly" things.
