My DD stacked scholarships at current school. Now she wants to appeal for more money in both talent and merit.
Can you direct to a website or resource for example of appeal letter ?
We do not qualify for FA, however DD has 4.0 and is very involved with programs at her university. She is not able to work at PT work because of health issue which is what university suggested last year. Also cannot be RA because of BFA program she attends.
She needs to contact her department. Some schools have departmental awards for upperclassmen. They aren’t usually huge, but every penny counts!

Students are expected to do well, so I don’t know if colleges will award merit money for doing their job. They Departments sometimes have small scholarships though. Have you checked there?
If you spoke with the financial aid office last year and they suggested that your daughter get a job then I wouldn’t expect them to have a different answer this year. Colleges might consider a change in financial circumstances, but you don’t seem to have that. But you can ask.
How much money are you looking for? It would be easier to make a case for a couple thousand dollars if she can’t work due to health issues/Covid risks than to make a case for a more substantial amount, but I think you have to know specifically what you want and have some evidence to show why they should give it to you.
