<p>Do Admission Officers Take Into Account Tragedys(to Immediate Family Members) That Happened Before Application Periods, If The Issue Was Not Mentioned In The Application Itself??</p>

<p>And If So, Does Anyone Know If It Is Worth It To Open Up And Tell A Life Threatening Story?</p>

<p>Or Does An Appeal Explaining Why I Want To Go To A School Work Out Better?</p>

<p>Did that tragedy hurt your grades? If it does, you could appeal to and tell them that you have family problem during school year and that the death of a family member hurt your proformance in school and how you overcome it. If not, then I don't think admission officers would care about it.</p>
