<p>Log into the ucsd myapplication
then click on faq for waitlisted students
then click on faq for students not offered admission
then click on submit appeal
you will be at an online appeal page that accepts the 250 word appeal essay</p>
<p>(I appealed and was accepted this year, i submitted my appeal on 3/31/13 and i received a decision on 4/5/13 so i recommend u do it early)</p>

the appeal basically reiterated some qualifications and gave a compelling reason based on their categories. If u dont have a specific reason u can just talk about ur ECs and ur academics more in depth.</p>
<p>My son was also accepted this year on an appeal after being waitlisted to Neuroscience Physiology. GPA 3.85 UW/4.5 W. His was based on a medical condition but also reiterated his EC involvement. Good luck!</p>
