Hello guys :)
So.. I recently got rejected @Berkeley.. :(
and I've decided to appeal.

I just had a quick question..

Do you think it would be better if a teacher writes the letter of appeal for me?
(I am going to provide him information.. and he's going to write it for me)

When I asked him for a recommendation letter today, he was like
"You don't need a recommendation letter when you appeal. What you need is the letter of appeal with new and significant information, and it's better for me to write the letter of appeal because teachers have more power .. blah blah.."

Hmm... I don't know...

On the appeal letter I was gonna include some important awards that I forgot to put in the app and hardships that I went through in my junior year that basically caused my grade to decrease (father injured, mother worked in place of him, I had to take care of my father & my younger brother on top of keeping up with my school work and ECs)..

Should I just tell my teacher that it would be better for ME to write the letter?
(because.. it would be kind of weird for my teacher to know that I missed to put my awards and my hardships?.....)

Thank you for reading and please give me your opinion! :D
