Appeal Summer Session

I was wondering if I could get on a waiting list for the fall admission. I was accepted for the Summer Session.

First of all, congratulations at being accepted, period. I know plenty of kids who would’ve given anything last year to be accepted to summer session.

Second, I’d look into summer session, if I were you. You can talk to admissions about it, but there may have been something in your record that made them think you would benefit by attending summer session. It is a much more relaxed atmosphere; lots fewer kids, and you take a smaller course load so you can really concentrate on your studies and be ready for a regular course load in the fall.

My D is a current freshman, and although she was accepted for and started last fall, she is seriously considering this year’s summer session because she looks at is an excellent way to get ahead (she is double majoring).

I was accepted for this fall, but I chose to do summer (LEAP Program). I heard summer is a great way to meet friends plus you will already know your way around campus when classes start in the fall. To answer your question, I don’t think that it is possible, but I am not sure.

To be honest if you tried to do that and I was on the admissions board, I would probably think you were being extremely ungrateful.
