<p>So I got waitlisted from UCI as an Econ major and I was extremely suprised as it was considered easy to get into to some extent. I initially considered UCI a second choice until i got rejected from UCSD, and now I'm too scared to check LA and Cal. I'd much rather go to UCI over UCD and Cal Poly SLO.</p>
<p>My app in a nutshell:
UW GPA: 3.6
UC GPA: 4.0
SAT: 2120
Magnet School, so non inflated GPA
Professional Dance Company for three years, 150 Volunteer hours, had a job as a tutor, and had a year long government internship.</p>
<p>I heard that they only accept 1% of appeals, is it worth it? I honestly see so many obviously qualified applicants waitlisted this year and I think its crazy..</p>
