<p>Oops. Okay, so I just checked my application online at the UC application info website... and it lists my SD major as music. I was pretty shocked to see this, and I don't know how it happened, because I only applied to UCI for music. Obviously, I got rejected because I didn't even know about auditions for UCSD (and therefore did not audition), so I was wondering how I would appeal? It's a pretty big error, I don't know if I'll get into UCSD or not but I just want to appeal so I can actually be judged (or denied) on the criteria for which I meant to apply.</p>

<p>just like every other major, you apply as a music major and if you’re accepted, then that’s the major you are registered as.</p>
<p>So they just count it on GPA/SAT scores? How does that make sense?
I’ve gotten into CSULB (which I believe has a more reputable music program) and other schools for music, so I find that odd.</p>
