Has anyone heard back from their appeal yet? I appealed a month and a half ago and still nothing.
Our friend hasn’t heard a thing either. Are you in state or out of state? From previous years, it looks like most students don’t hear back until mid to late May.
I talked to Caitlin James one of the UT Admissions Officers and she said that we won’t hear anything back regarding our appeal until/after May 1st when the admitted student accept or deny admissions because appeals are mainly based on space that the university has available. My friends appeal did get denied so I’m assuming that all the people that are waiting to hear back are the ones that the appeal committee is considering for admission but can yet offer students admission due to the university not knowing how much space they have.

Yeah a lot of my friends actually just told me that they heard back already and got rejected. And they appealed after I did too. Thank you so much this helped a lot!
