I wrote the most amazing appeal letter about an abusive event that happened in my sophomore year and affected my grades through my junior year and how I’ve picked myself back up this year. I got a letter of recommendation from a teacher who knows all about the event and another from my college counselor who used to work at ucsc admissions. She also read my personal appeal letter and said it was the best one she’s read in a while and if I’m not let in she’d be very surprised. </p>

<p>Hey I’m preparing my appeal. I called and they told me that probably the reason I was rejected was I am taking my required math class this semester. How should I tell them I am doing well this semester and going to pass?</p>

I was on the wait list. I sent in my appeal letter on April 2.
My admission status says Congratulations, you have been admitted.</p>
