<p>I got my admission packet today, one day after I was notified of my acceptance.</p>
<p>@Pscholler: i included my appeal letter and 1 letter of recommendation. about 2 weeks later, i got my acceptance!! but the deadline to send in an appeal for ucsc was on april 2… =/</p>

<p>did you find examples of appeal letters on the internet. I am trying to figure out how I want to format it. I know everything I need it, just not sure how I should set it up.</p>

<p>Sent appeal end of March, checked portal regularly and this week saw my acceptance on-line; next day got a letter. Whoo hooo! My letter described largely overcoming a learning disability. Also, I go to a very competitive my high school (B+ = 32nd percentile). Sent copy of the disability testing and teacher recommendation letter. A friend at another school also appealed and got in-- probably based on a prestigious EC she just interviewed for and got into.</p>

<p>Congrats :D. Seems like even with the bad economy UCs are still accepting appealers :).</p>
