Appealed for scholarship

I was accepted to Northeastern University's College of Engineering and the University Honors Program. Just thought I'd say I'm an international student. However, I didn't get any sort of scholarship and unfortunately my parents aren't very keen on spending $60k+ (tuition+room and board+living expenses+...) for any university unless it's the prestigious Top 20 kind, especially now that they think I'd be "settling" if I decided to attend Northeastern.

I've humbly appealed to admissions for merit aid, and I've told them about my extra-curricular activities in the last semester, my interest in the school, other offers and my SAT scores which I did not submit before because I'm an international student and admissions told me they wouldn't consider them. Wasn't sure if they'd consider them now but I thought it wouldn't hurt:
SAT I: 2230 (CR: 670, Math: 800, W: 760)
SAT Subject
Math II: 780
Physics: 800
Chemistry: 800

So my question is, is it possible to get any merit aid this late if I've appealed and expressed a lot of genuine interest? And if it is, then how much do they usually award?

Probably not gonna get anything. Plenty of kids got Honors without merit or merit without Honors, so I don’t think you’re a special case. Merit aid is determined by admissions, and all admissions decisions are final. Doesn’t hurt to try but I hope you have a plan B.
